QUICKFIRE:

Zodiak_sign:   Aquarius

Food:  I like all kinds of foods

Drink:  Patron Margarita

Personal style:  Sexy , Classy, Sassy, Elegant

Spare Time:  Traveling, spending time with my son, shopping, learning new things.  My mind goes a million miles a minute – Im always  thinking!

Club:  I don’t really club so I would say whichever one is paying the most ;-)

Biggest turn off in a man:  Insecurity

First Date:  He picked me up in this super dope sports car.  Neither one of us was old enough to drive.  I liked him a lot but I was trying to play it so cool lol.  He must have felt the same way cause after that night we were inseparable!

1 confession:  I plead the fifth

“TELL ME MORE”:

Growing up:  I was born in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania to a mother who was a journalist & a father who was a college professor.  At the age of 2 I moved  to the Netherlands.  My parents divorced a year later.  My brother, mother and I remained in Europe for two years & moved to the U.S. to Lansing, Michigan when I was 5.  Growing up, I went through a lot.  There were many good and bad times.  I definitely learned some very hard lessons growing up and I am thankful cause it’s made me who I am today.

Inspiration:  Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Scarface, NWA, Salt N Pepa, Tupac, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige, Foxy Brown, Biggie, Jay Z & Nas.  I truly believe that there is a combination of genres in my musical makeup.

All time track:  I honestly don’t have a favorite song.  I love music so much it would be hard to pick just one.  I know one of my all time favorite rap records is Jay Z “Song Cry.”  It doesn’t get any realer than that.

Dream collaboration:  There’s so many people I want to work with but one of my all time favorite artists is Scarface.  Mary J Blige is another one.  Both of them are so real & their music reflects so much emotion.  It is those type of records that you can relate to, the ones that tug at your hearts that I truly respect and admire.

Describe your music:  Hip Pop (A mixture of edgy pop and hip hop all-in-one) ;-)

How do you feel about the music industry today?:  Music has definitely changed as far as content.  It is an ever-changing industry.  I continue to do me, which is make music that feels and sounds good to me.  I think when you make music like that, you can’t fail cause you’re not manufacturing something artificial.  You’re creating something from within.

Message to your fans:  I just want to thank each & every one of you for your love, support, & words of encouragement.  It truly means the world to me and inspires me to work even harder!
